Uniform

The Emily Davison School has a basic uniform that allows students to feel comfortable, at the same time as being cost effective for parents and carers.

We have worked with Student Voice to seek their views and we consider the uniform as something that is very important. It sends the message that we are a school and starts the journey in the Preparation for Adulthood, with students having to understand they will be expected to wear certain items within the workplace.

The uniform gives a sense of identity, students look smart and feel comfortable and it is cheaper for parents to buy and replace. It helps stop name calling for those who can not afford designer clothing.
